ISO 27001 consulting and certification readiness
Ideal Proposition helps organisations establish and improve an information security management system and prepare for ISO/IEC 27001 certification. Support can include scope, risk assessment, the Statement of Applicability, control implementation and internal readiness activities.
Scope, deliverables and commercial assumptions are confirmed before work begins.
WHEN THIS HELPS
Start with the business challenge.
A customer or tender asks for ISO 27001 certification, but the business needs an operating management system rather than a document pack that nobody maintains.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Deliverables your team can use.
- ISMS scope and implementation plan
- Information security risk assessment and treatment plan
- Statement of Applicability support
- Policy, control and evidence framework
- Internal audit and management review preparation
- Corrective-action tracking and certification readiness review
How the engagement works
- 01 · Define
Agree objectives, systems, evidence needs and accountable stakeholders.
- 02 · Assess
Review evidence, discuss observations and connect findings to business impact.
- 03 · Prioritise
Set actions, ownership, dependencies and options for follow-up validation.
What we need to scope your project
Share your intended certification scope, business processes, locations, customer expectations and existing security documentation. Certification body fees and certification decisions are separate from consulting.
Timeline and fees depend on scope, maturity, evidence availability and the level of support required.

Common questions
Do you issue ISO 27001 certificates?
No. Certification is performed by an independent certification body. Our role is implementation and readiness support; an accredited body should be selected where accredited certification is required.
How long does readiness take?
It depends on scope, current maturity, implementation capacity and operating evidence. A realistic schedule is agreed after discovery rather than promised before reviewing your environment.
Can you support an existing ISMS?
Yes. Support can focus on risk review, internal audit readiness, evidence quality, corrective actions or continual improvement.
